Focal Position Automatic Measurement System is a system that realizes automatic measurement of the focal position and the beam waist of lens, LD module, fiber module, etc. by interlocking NFP measurement system and high precision motorized positioning stage system. By selecting appropriate detector, it is possible to respond to measurement in 400~1700nm spectral range.

MEASUREMENT METHOD OF FOCAL POSITION AUTOMATIC MEASUREMENT SYSTEM

  • Move the NFP measurement optics or sample in the direction of beam and focus by micro step control with the electric motorized stage.
  • Obtain the light beam image at each position by NFP measurement optics.
  • From the light beam image at each position, measure the light beam diameter at each focal position by image processing software.
  • Analyze the diameter of the light beam at each focal position and calculate the condensing position.
