  • As the new detectors for optical beam profile measurement and analysis in NIR spectral range, we have released InGaAs High Resolution NIR Detector ISA041HRA (SXGA type)/ISA041HRVA (VGA type), with wide spectral sensitivity (400~1700nm) and high resolution InGaAs image sensor, 5μm square cell pitch, 12bit gradation, Gigabit Ethernet I/F. 【RELEASE NEWS】Wafer Level Optical Characteristic Measurement System For VCSEL (and light emitting devices)
  • For wafer level measurement and testing of light emission parameters of VCSELs and light emitting devices, we have released Wafer Level Optical Characteristic Measurement System For VCSEL. By combining with a manual or semi-automatic probe station, various emission parameters of VCSEL can be analyzed under wafer level condition. Please refer to here.
  • Corresponding to the beam profile measurement of output ~10 W class high power laser whose demand is expanding in various application fields nowadays, we have released 3 models of optical beam profile measurement optics for high power laser, such as Sophisticated NFP Measurement Optics For High Power Laser M-Scope type HS, FFP Measurement Optics For High Power Laser M-Scope type HF, and NFP/FFP Simultaneous Measurement Optics For High Power Laser M-Scope type HD. 【ABOUT SUBSIDY BUSINESS ADOPTION -R&D Support Project for Growing SMEs (Go-Tech Project) by Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan】
  • Our "Development of high-speed, high-precision assembly and mounting equipment for practical use of integrated active optical modules" was selected for the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry's R&D support project for growing small and medium-sized enterprises (Go-Tech project). With the rapid spread and expansion of IT technologies such as AI, IoT, and big data in recent years, the amount of information transmission and processing in data centers has increased dramatically, and the load on the communication and data processing environment is increasing day by day. Against this background, efforts have been made to convert conventional electric wiring to optical wiring in order to improve data transmission and information processing capabilities. The key device that plays a part in this is an optical transceiver module called active optical module, which was developed mainly by PETRA. The purpose of this adopted project is to contribute to the mass production and popularization of active optical modules through the development of high-speed, high-precision assembly and mounting technology for active optical modules, particularly through method studies, demonstration experiments, and equipment commercialization. Through this development, we will strive to contribute to the further spread of IT technology and the strengthening of Japan's industrial competitiveness.

  • Development of Beam Profile Measurement and Evaluation System for High Power Laser Module is adopted as public support subject of "Subsidy for New Industry Creation by Hamamatsu city". Due to market expansion in the field of sensing for ADAS, illumination, display devices, laser processing, medical application, etc., further reliability and quality are required for high power laser modules. In such a situation, establishing the method of high precision beam profile measurement for high power laser module is essential. Receiving this adoption, Synos promotes system development, validation, implementation toward realization of "Beam Profile Measurement and Evaluation System for High Power Laser Module".

  • Development of Wafer Level Si-photonics Waveguide Evaluation and Testing System is adopted as public support subject of "New Technology Development Subsidy by Ichimura Foundation for New Technology". Receiving this adoption, Synos promotes system development, validation, implementation toward realization of "Wafer Level Si-photonics Waveguide Evaluation and Testing System". Furthermore, through this development, in cooperation with Dr. Okihiro Sugihara and Dr. Hidehiko Yoda of Utsunomiya University, Synos proceeds with verification and evaluation of the method and system structure.
